For their particular greatness and expressiveness such as for their fundamental contribution to the Tuscan culture and musical tradition, the Ensemble Bacchelli has close feeling with the following authors:

PIETRO MASCAGNI (1863 -1945): born in Livorno and lived between the 1800 and the 1900, he reached a worldwide popularity with over 15 operas of which the most famous is CAVALLERIA RUSTICANA, but without forgetting the IRIS and AMICO FRITZ and with works of Sacred Music, Operettas, Songs , Romance and Piano Compositions;

GIACOMO PUCCINI (1858 – 1924): born in Lucca, same age of Mascagni, was an Italian composer, considered one of the greatest composers in history. He received musical training at the Milan Conservatory where he befriended Pietro Mascagni. Puccini’s most famous operas, considered to be repertoire for the major theatres of the world, are La Bohème (1896), Tosca (1900), Madama Butterfly (1904) and Turandot (1926).

The Ensemble Bacchelli, worked hardly also on the BIZET, STRAUSS, MORRICONE and PIAZZOLLA’s repertoires, setting up workshops and laboratories for its young musicians.
